From an early age Steve had an extreme passion for being around horses. This passion spread to a thirst for more knowledge as he traveled across the country to mentor under some of the greatest horsemen of all time, including the late Ray Hunt. The culmination of this tutilage and his work helping thousands of horses and riders over the last 20 years, is the basis for Steve's Excel With Horses Program. It is one of the most sought-after training methods in the country and has made it possible for so many horsemen and women to achieve their horsemanship dreams. Steve is dedicated to helping those wishing to pursue a better relationship with their horse and has designed a simple step-by-step program designed for all breeds and disciplines.

Mechanical Bull Contest
Calling all contestants, here’s your chance to compete, have some fun and finally show that mechanical bull who is boss!
• Contest time is 6:00pm – 8:00pm
• The entry fee is $20.
• Enter on-site and sign the release at that time (no online entry is available)
• There will be an ‘Official Rules’ Sheet on-site
• Weight limit: 250 lbs.
• Open to male and female contestants – no categories or teams
• Minimum Age: 18 years of age.
• Contestants must verbally announce they are ready for the ride (no excuses such as ‘I wasn’t ready’)
• Rider must ride with one hand and is disqualified if he/she touches himself/herself or the bull with the free hand
• Rider must complete a 10-second qualifying ride in order to move up in the competition. If they are bucked off or touch themselves or the bull with their free hand they will be disqualified.
• Riders moving forward will be scored on a completed 10-second ride
Cash Prizes: (To be awarded by Mr. Brown’s BBQ)
• 1st Place: $175.00
• 2nd Place: $100.00
• 3rd Place: $75.00
